Ascot Pharmaceutical Ltd recognises the urgent global need to significantly and swiftly reduce carbon emissions to prevent irreversible climate change. We are fully committed to playing our part by minimising the carbon footprint generated through our business operations.
Ascot Pharmaceutical has undertaken a comprehensive and independent carbon analysis covering all aspects of our activities. Our 2022 baseline assessment identified less than 256 tCO₂e attributable to our operations — representing a 15% reduction compared with 2019 levels. We have also conducted a detailed review of carbon emissions across our business activities from 2017 to the present day.
To date, Ascot has implemented several carbon reduction initiatives, including enhanced recycling programmes across our head office, the introduction of motion-sensor lighting, on-site energy efficiency improvements, waste reduction measures, and increased recycling rates.
Looking ahead, we aim to actively engage our employees to help lower carbon emissions — both on behalf of the company and in their personal lives. We will also continue to explore and adopt further opportunities to cut emissions, including the use of carbon-reduction technologies and renewable energy sources.
Ascot Pharmaceutical Ltd remains committed to achieving further substantial reductions in corporate carbon emissions by 2030.
